26.2 miles ... or more

Saylor finally got home from his marathon trip... right after the NY trip he went straight to Orlando to lead training for 700 staff people on two different topics. He is very happy to be home!! I think everyone slept better last night than we have in a week!

The trip to NY was amazing!!! We had a fabulous time and good weather (well, at least we were bundled up!). The marathon was truly one of the coolest things I've ever seen. We got to see Saylor at Mile 16 and Mile 25. Thanks to the champion chip, we also got email alerts every time he hit another 5K on the route. It was a great experience for all of us!! Well except getting back to the hotel after the race... we couldn't get a cab to save our lives so we ended up walking all the way back to Lexington and 49th! Poor Saylor, he was such a trouper.

So now Saylor has a marathon under his belt! We are so proud of him. I think he'll end up doing more... but I dare not ask too much so soon!!!

I've got both girls home today. Katie is off from school for Veterans Day and I thought Ellie would have a fun day hanging out in her jammies and playing with her sister! They both need a little relaxation time. the NY trip took a lot out of them!!

Last night Katie pulled another tooth out!! She left the cutest note on her bed. Since she and Ellie were having one of their slumber parties in the play room the note said "Dear Tooth Fairy, You may not find me in my room. I am in the next room. Love Katie, The Big One" it was adorable!!! Of course the tooth fairy thought it was so cute that she kept the letter for herself!

Hope you all have a great weekend ahead of you!
