Katie's exciting week

So yesterday Katie found out she is Star of the Week at school this week. The principal announced it on the school TV station (she said that was VERY exciting). Then last night at gymnastics, Katie tested and moved up to the next level. Starting in January she will be in the Twisters class :) Lots of excitement for her.

What is Star of the Week? Well last night she put together a poster of all of her favorite things (books, dessert, toy, number, movie, etc) a few pictures of the family and her as a baby, decorated it and brought it to school. Today she got to stand in front of the class and talk about it and the kids were allowed to ask her questions. She had fun. On Thursday she gets to have some one on one time with her principal, Mr Hallock. Everyone loves this man, he is fabulous with the kids and they all adore him. She is very excited to be able to have a conversation with him one on one!
