Race for The Cure - The Mitzvah Club Walkers

This morning the chicks and I got up bright and early and met a group of friends at the JCC and we all caravaned downtown to the Race for The Cure!!!
We had a wonderful time and I am so proud of Katie for walking the entire 5K and Ellie for being such a good girl and staying in her stroller the entire time. At one point I mentioned that Ellie & Zoe's teacher was walking also (we never saw her 44,000 people were there!!) and for about 20 minutes Ellie and Zoe were chanting together
"Janet, Jackie - Where are you guys?"
It was really funny in those little voices.

Here are a few more pictures, mostly ones I just held up the camera to get the crowd shots!!!

If you have a chance to do the Race for the Cure in your city, it is an amazing thing to be a part of!!!!!

I agree! I volunteered at the Race here in Chattanooga; I worked in the survivor tent which ZTA sponsors and it is amazing to hear the stories from the survivors.
