There's no crying in baseball

Unless you are a Diamondbacks fan... we were so close tonight... so close!!!! Well, unless you count the three run homer at the top of the 9th by the mariners...Oh well...

so we are at the game and Ellie looks at me after Gonzo hits a home run and says "Mommy, we should get Gonzo to go to Begas with us" (no, she can't say V yet) So I say, "Sorry Ells, we can't have Gonzo go to Vegas with us" (I can say my Vs). Tears well up and she starts crying, honest to goodness tears. It was the saddest thing. So I tell her that Gonzo has to play other games and that he is a daddy with three kids and he can't go on vacation without them, finally she stops crying. Poor thing, she really loves her baseball players!
