The Second Day of School

No, I promise I will not write a blog every day that there is school - but this was a cute story!

This morning I walked the girls to school. Katie showed me where her class meets and then ran off to the play ground. So Ellie and I saw her teacher, Mrs Miwa (do you hear her little Kermit voice when you read that?) and we walk over to her. She said that Ellie can go play on the kindergarten playground until its time to go inside. Ellie asked if she could stay with Mrs Miwa and she said sure! I turned around to talk to another parent and when i turned back to Ellie again - she was greeting everyone and had her arm around another little kid talking to them!!! So cute!!

Everything went really well yesterday - Katie was given the choice of going by Katelyn or Katie this year and went with Katie in the end - after polling many friends and family members. They both had a great day! And last night Ellie had gymnastics with her 4 best friends at the Little Gym. The 5 of them hadn't been together since last Friday afternoon so it was a big hug fest. There are 2 other girls in the class. I felt bad for both the two little girls and the two moms who had to listen to Karen, Kendra, Sherri, Chris and myself chat up a storm the entire time. We also hadn't all been together since Friday afternoon :)
